[NEWS] Filipino Talent, Joseph Bitangcol grateful for Dara’s Concern after his car accident!

Actor Joseph Bitangcol is thankful to his former girlfriend Sandara Park that she showed her concern after he figured in a car accident.

“Thank you sa lahat” (“Thank You for everything”) Joseph quipped on “Showbiz Central,” Sept. 18, referring to Korean Pop Star Dara Park of 2NE1.

Joseph was surprised at Sandara’s show of concern when she learned that he figured in a road mishap Aug. 10 en route to Antipolo together with some friends.

“Nagulat din ako doon kasi first day ko pa lang sa ospital nag-message na siya sa akin. Parang, ‘How are you? Narinig ko ‘yung balita. Sana okay ka lang. Sana i-update mo ‘ko kung ano ang maitutulong ko.’ So, nagulat ako. Pero nu’ng time na ‘yon, ano, eh, hindi pa ako talaga makasagot kasi pilay-pilay pa ako. Parang pinabasa lang sa akin ‘yung mga messages para medyo mabuhayan ako ng loob, gano’n,” the actor shared.

(I was surprised, because it was only my first day in the hospital and she managed to send me a message. It was like “How are you? I heard the news, I hope you’re okay. Please update me. If you need help…” So I was surprised. They were only reading the message to me and I was enlightened by it)
Joseph is amazed that Sandara, or Dara as she’s now known in Korea, still manages to check on him through social networking sites despite her busy schedule.

“Isa pa ‘yan sa sinabi ko sa kanya. Sabi ko, ‘Grabe ka, nakakabilib ka talaga,’ kasi nu’ng huli kaming nagkita nu’ng reunion parang hindi niya kami nakalimutan. Tapos ngayon na nangyari ‘yung accident kung mababasa mo ‘yung mga posts niya, ‘yung mga Twitter niya halos wala na (siyang) itulog pero nakukuha pa rin niya akong kumustahin, na i-message at mag-offer ng tulong kung ano’ng magagawa niya,” he said, adding, “No wonder ang daming blessings na dumadating sa kanya.”

Joseph said he and the whole “Star Circle Quest” gang are happy with what Sandara has achieved in the international music scene.

“‘Yung mga kapatid mo, sabay-sabay tayong pumasok sa industriyang ito. Ngayon natutuwa kami sa ‘yo na kapatid mo sa showbiz. More power to you. Gaya ng nasabi namin, gaya rin ng ginagawa mo ngayon na hindi ka nagbabago, sana mapanatili mo ‘yan. God bless you always.”

If ever Sandara visits Manila again, Joseph will grab the chance to see her and personally thank her for all her support.

“Siyempre kung magkakaroon ng chance, why not? Siguro magiging masaya kung mangyayari ‘yon…”

The actor shared that the last time he saw Sandara was kinda “weird lang kasi noong nagkita kami kasi parang sinasabi na parang single pa rin siya. Hindi natin maiwasan ‘yon, eh. Kumplikado ang buhay natin ngayon.”

(It’s just weird when we saw each other, cause they told me that she’s single. We can’t avoid that. Life is still complicated right now)
He took the opportune time to clear, once and for all, why they broke up.

“Linawin natin, wala namang third party,” he stressed. “Ano lang talaga, kumplikado lang talaga. Siguro ano rin, medyo immature pa kami noon.”
